like, how can i record and play sounds on windows XP

You can navigate between the different buttons like play, stop, sick to start, etc with tab.
Sometimes jaws doesn't say the names of the buttons with tab but it says graphick and a number. But if you press jaws key+F8 you get a list of keys.
Also jaws supports some shortcuts for sound recorder like control+R for record, control+P for play and control+S for stop.
Also in the menus you can find other options like adding echo, reversing the recording, changing the speed etc.
